Channeling my inner Al Gore

In honor of Earth Day, I spent today at a friend's apartment at my first clothing swap. Everyone showed up with all the dresses, pants, tops, etc. that no longer fit, never did fit, are just no longer in rotation, etc. We were all motivated to clean out our closets, went home with some new stuff (four skirts and a really pretty new dress for me), and can feel good about how much we donated to Good Will.

Prolific! I swung by here to see if you'd updated again yet, and there's about a million new entries! (maybe six). Have you had a chance to check out my blog yet? I recently changed the whole look, so I'm being a total whore about it--please forgive me.

Yes! I've looked at your blog several times and actually just commented on your HP entry. I can't wait for my Harry Potter-licous summer!

What a great idea! I should organize a Colorado clothing swap (though I'm not sure anyone would want the six pairs of corduroys that make up my work attire).

You definitely should do it! We had a good mix of sizes and styles represented and everyone went home with something new. I feel like I have a whole new element to my wardrobe and it didn't cost me a thing.
