How many of you send out Christmas cards? I am sending them but wonder if I’m part of a dying breed. I’m not sure why, but I feel like they’re on their way out. I love sending them (it’s a nice way to reestablish contact with people I don’t talk to much throughout the year), and it’s always fun to get them. It’s a very organic part of my holiday decorating: it’s an odd mix of being familiar each year but always a little different.

I don't send them...I'm way too lazy!!! :(
I'm sending them this year. Each year is different for me. Some years I'm too lazy to do it.
i haven't done it for years, but for a while I MADE them every year and sent 'em, but they would always be late, and the I ended up making them New Year's Cards. I figured, January seems dull after the festivities of December, so it might actually be nice to get card that starts the year off, after the hoo-ha dies down. I still like this idea in theory, but haven't done it for years. Do it!

I love sending and receiving cards! But, I'm pretty much all about Christmas, so I can't imagine skipping this ritual.
I love sending/receiving these, but some years I don't get to it until late. I do think that "snail mail" is dying out in our generation...
I need to do it, and I will. Partly because I'm such a kid that nothing makes me quite as happy as opening mail with my name handwritten on it, so I must send cards in the hopes that someone feels the same way. I think that's the best thing about Christmas!!
I'm very much a slacker, I don't think I've ever sent Christmas cards, despite my love of the holiday.
I keep thinking that as someone who works for EPA, I should most definitely not send 175 holiday cards each year, but every year when I contemplate the electronic greeting, I decide against it. It's partly because it's the one time a year I send people snail mail. I love getting snail mail and wish I made the time to send more of it to other people. Of course not everyone loves receiving it as much as I do, so maybe I'm being selfish. :D I don't know. Probably not a helpful response!
